1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ovrseas.io, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

ovrseas.io provides a web-based platform for creating and managing international trade documents including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, and other export documentation.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Ensuring the accuracy of information you provide
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations

4. Intellectual Property

The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ovrseas.io and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5. Limitation of Liability

ovrseas.io shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service. The documents generated by our service are for convenience purposes, and you are responsible for verifying their accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.

6. Load Planner

The container load planner on our CBM calculator is free to use without an account. Load Planner Pro adds the downloads: the step-by-step PDF load plan with the position of every box and the weight distribution, and the plan as an Excel (CSV) file. It is sold separately from the document plans: as a 7-day pass (one payment, it does not renew) or as a monthly subscription you can cancel at any time from the billing portal. Payments are handled by Polar, our merchant of record, which also issues your receipt.

Refunds: if a plan does not work for your cargo, email support@ovrseas.io within 14 days of payment and we will refund it in full.

Load plans are calculated from the box sizes, weights and rules you enter and from the smallest container sizes published by major carriers. They do not replace the judgement of the people loading the container. Securing the cargo, checking weight limits for your route and following the IMO/ILO/UNECE Code of Practice for Packing of Cargo Transport Units (CTU Code) remain the shipper's responsibility.

7. Denied Party Screening

Searching one name on our denied party screening page is free and needs no account. Screening Pro is a monthly subscription, sold separately from the document plans, that you can cancel at any time from the billing portal. It adds screening of many names at once, a dated PDF record of each screen, which we keep in your account so you can download it again, and a watchlist of saved names that we re-screen every day, e-mailing you when a new possible match appears. Payments are handled by Polar, our merchant of record, which also issues your receipt. Refunds: email support@ovrseas.io within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full.

Results are possible matches against the US Consolidated Screening List as published by the International Trade Administration, on the list version shown with each result. A possible match is not a confirmed match, and no possible matches is not a clearance: you remain responsible for reviewing results, for checking ownership (companies owned by listed parties may not be on the lists), for your export-control and sanctions compliance and for any licence decision. Names are compared in Latin letters (Cyrillic is converted); a name with nothing to compare is marked “not screened”. Alerts stop when the subscription ends; your saved records stay downloadable while you have an account. A daily re-screen can be delayed or missed when the government list or our systems are unavailable. The service is a search tool and not legal advice.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes. Your continued use of the service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
